PROPER HAIR CARE TIPS
1. To minimize shedding, we suggest you insure all you’re wefts whether it’s hair you got from Weave Pro Company or any other company, by sealing your wefts with a Weft Sealant. I prefer Fray Check or Shed Stop. This will prolong the life of your hair. There are many You-Tube Videos, which will give you step by step instructions on how to do so.
2. Always comb the hair upwards from the tips to the roots to get rid of knots with a wide toothcomb. The comb is probably better as it’s less likely to rip out hair from the weft.
3. When styling hair, I don’t like to use too many products. I try to keep it clean as possible. I use maybe a little Smooth and Shine hair spray (not polisher which can be too heavy) or a penny size drop of Biosilk. I may add a little sprits or hairspray as a finishing touch. I like to use TRESemme Mega hold because it’s not too heavy and it does the job. Now if you’re going with a wet and wavy look, I like to first:
***Dampen the hair with a spray bottle of water and then apply products. That way you’re not using too much products. Then I added a Spray leave-in Condtioner which will keep it soft. Following, I add either Moose or Liquid gel which will tame and define the curl and give it a hold. In this case, a polisher or serum is acceptable.
4. Wash the hair every 2-3 weeks. If you’re applying products to your hair, you will need to wash more often. Virgin hair is more prone to being greasy than our own so it’s important to keep it clean. I love love to use Pantene Pro-V Ice shine Shampoo and conditioner. It’s like a bottle of gold! It’s very great at striping products, oils or grease from the hair. You will thank me later! I also use TRESemme and Joico, Sebastians sometimes but you can never go wrong with Pantene. Please do not use any African America products to wash the hair, as it’s too heavy and the moisturizer in it will weight it down.
5. We suggest that you use a professional colorist that has worked with Virgin hair. Weave Pro Virgin hair colors and lifts very very easily as it is pure hair. If you are planning to do Blonde or lighter tones, please make sure to condition your hair from time to time (every 2 weeks) after initial coloring. That will keep the ends from drying or breaking off.
6. Once taking your weave or extensions out, I let sit in a sink of water and shampoo (I add dish soap sometimes to remove any excess oils or build up in the hair and wefts) for 30min. Once that’s done, I continue to wash it regularly with shampoo.
7. Try to reduce the amount of heat your hair is exposed to by air-drying instead of blow-drying. Blow-drying will get rid of the 'natural state' look and blow the curls out of place. Hang up on hangers to let air dry.
8. Wash the hair immediately after swimming, spa, and excessive exercise. When dirt and sweat accumulate, hair will tangle just as your natural hair will. Also, tying your hair up at night will prolong your hair use, as well as your install. Plus it will keep you from having to touch or put heat to your hair every day. Especially your leave out! This is important to your own hair as well! So bonnet or scarf it up!

WASHING TIPS
1. The correct way to wash your bundles / wig is once you take your hair out of your weave / wig, make a full sink of water and put a full cup of fabric softener in there! I normally don't like to tell my secrets but hey lol...
2. Let soak for 30-45min. This gets all dandruff, oil, dirt and smells out of the wefts and hair.
3. Wash out with Pantene Pro V "Ice Shine shampoo". The original works good too... A great shampoo makes the world of a difference! Using oily or greasy shampoos will weighy down the hair which gives a oily look and will cause it not to curl or be styled correctly. Condition directly after with Pantene.
4. Rinse out then hang on a hanger to fan dry or air dry. Do not leave the hair tied in a rubber band or put it in a bag ... the hair needs to completely dry ....of its bomb hair, this will also bring back the natural curl and make it look Flawless and weightless.
LACE CLOSURE EDUCATION
DO NOT USE A PANDLE BRUSH ON YOUR CLOSURE OR FRONTAL. ANY PUNCHERING TO YOUR CLOSURE OR FRONTAL WILL CAUSE SHEDDING.
1. To keep maintenance to the minimum, protect your hair while sleeping by wearing a wrap, scarf, or bonnet. It helps to protect the hairpiece from shedding hair and preserves the hairstyle.
2. Overtime, your natural hair receives damages from the sun, excessive heat from curling and flat irons, dying, and chemical processing. Wearing a closure allows your hair to relax and retain its natural oils to restore hair health. One of the advantages of wearing a closure is it provides protection, coverage and a natural look.
4. Do not brush/comb hard. Use only use a wide tooth comb or brush with soft bristles when styling. Combing and brushing too harsh will loosen the hair strands. Do not comb from the root. Start from the ends and work your way up. Hold the hair at the root to prevent tension when combing/brushing!!!!
5. Hair loss on closures is relatively easy because it is not wefted like extensions. If you do any of the things listed under DON’T, you can experience bald patches due to improper care.
FRONTAL TIPS
DO NOT USE A PANDLE BRUSH ON YOUR CLOSURE OR FRONTAL. ANY PUNCHERING TO YOUR CLOSURE OR FRONTAL WILL CAUSE SHEDDING.
1. We highly suggest taking the time to find someone who specializes in extensions to install your lace frontal. These pieces are fragile and not very DIY friendly.
Unfortunately frontals can be high maintenance styles. Whether you choose to have it installed with adhesive or glue-less. You can expect to get your frontal touched up every 3-4 weeks. On the upside, touch ups tend to be very quick and in expensive
The great part about getting a frontal is the freedom to part any where in the front of your hair. Everyone differs in how the outcome will look. Please with slim/thin/bald edges, seek advice from your beautician.
4. Bleaching the knots makes the frontal looks more natural , but bleaching the knots can also Fragile the hair so definitely be careful not to over process.
5. Lace closures, wigs and frontals are all hand-tied so yes it will shed over time! DON'T LISTEN TO ANYONE. The way you take care of it makes a difference. Trust me after, 12 years I've seen it all. Everyone is different.
